Our Workshops & Approach
At Solstice Rising, our workshops are designed to help individuals navigate significant life changes, rebuild confidence and discover positive ways forward. Through a structured, three-stage approach, we explore the challenges people face, develop practical coping strategies and support personal growth. Each programme can be tailored to the needs of the audience and organisation, ensuring that the content remains relevant, purposeful and meaningful.
Our Three-Stage Approach
Our workshops follow a structured journey through Foundations, Healing and Rebuilding. Each stage builds on the previous one, helping participants develop a deeper understanding of their experiences, explore practical ways to manage challenges and identify meaningful steps towards a more confident future.

Foundations — Understand
Explore the challenges associated with significant life changes, recognise their impact and develop an understanding of individual needs and experiences. The Foundations stage helps participants understand the challenges they are facing, recognise their emotional responses and explore how life changes may affect their confidence, relationships, work or studies. Through guided reflection and supportive discussion, participants begin to identify their needs and consider what may help them move forward.
- Understand feelings and emotional responses.
- Explore how life changes affect work, study and everyday responsibilities.
- Identify personal challenges and triggers.
- Gain clarity and perspective on the situation.
- Recognise existing strengths and sources of support.

Healing — Process & Cope
Explore practical coping strategies, strengthen self-awareness and identify ways to manage change while developing personal resilience. The Healing stage focuses on developing practical ways to manage challenges, strengthen self-awareness and build emotional resilience. Through interactive discussion, guided activities and reflection, participants explore coping strategies, recognise personal strengths and consider how to navigate change in ways that support their wellbeing and everyday lives.
- Explore practical coping strategies.
- Develop self-awareness and emotional resilience.
- Identify helpful routines, resources and support networks.
- Strengthen confidence in managing challenges.
- Consider realistic ways to respond to change.

Rebuilding — Reconnect & Move Forward
Recognise personal strengths, rebuild confidence, set realistic goals and explore positive directions for the future. The Rebuilding stage supports participants in recognising their strengths, restoring confidence and exploring new possibilities for the future. It encourages individuals to reflect on what they have learned, identify realistic goals and consider practical steps towards positive change. The focus is on helping participants develop a renewed sense of direction and move forward with greater clarity, confidence and resilience.
- Recognise personal strengths, achievements and resources.
- Rebuild confidence and self-belief.
- Identify realistic personal, educational or professional goals.
- Explore opportunities for positive change and new directions.
- Develop practical next steps for moving forward.

How Our Workshops Work
Solstice Rising workshops are designed to provide structured, supportive and practical learning experiences. They combine guided discussion, reflection and interactive learning to help participants understand their experiences, develop useful coping strategies and identify positive ways forward. Each programme is shaped around the needs of its audience, creating opportunities for meaningful learning and personal development.
Structured and Purposeful
Our workshops follow a clear progression from understanding personal challenges to developing coping strategies and rebuilding confidence. This structure helps participants explore their experiences while identifying practical ways to move forward.
Interactive and Reflective
Participants are encouraged to engage through guided discussion, reflection and relevant learning activities. The approach supports self-awareness, shared understanding and the exploration of practical solutions in a respectful environment.
Adapted to the Audience
Workshop delivery can be adapted to suit the needs of employers, schools, colleges, universities, community organisations, charities and other groups. Content can be tailored to reflect the audience, setting and challenges being addressed.
Focused on Practical Outcomes
Our aim is for participants to leave with greater understanding, practical strategies and a clearer sense of their next steps. Workshops are designed to support confidence, resilience and positive personal development rather than simply discuss the challenges people face.

Our Workshop Programmes
Our programmes address three significant areas of life transition. Each workshop explores the challenges associated with these experiences and helps participants develop greater understanding, practical coping strategies and confidence in navigating change. Programmes can be adapted to suit different audiences and settings.

These challenges may also influence parenting, relationships, work, study and everyday responsibilities. This workshop explores the personal impact of relationship and family changes, helping participants recognise their needs, develop practical coping strategies and begin establishing a positive way forward.
